ABOUT

We design exceptional interiors for sea, land and air.

WAYNE PARKER, FOUNDER & DESIGN PRINCIPAL

The role of a design studio and its senior team is to interpret a client’s vision and to formulate one where an individual isn’t sure what they want. It requires a high level of trust, communication and understanding between the designer and client. These are core elements for Wayne and we are proud of the bonds we have developed with our clients over the years.

Wayne has over 20 years of experience in the industry and a proven track record for the interior design of some of the world’s most remarkable superyachts and high-end architectural interiors globally.

Wayne Parker Design collaborates with visionary furniture designers, studios, extraordinary craftspeople and artisans to bring our client’s story to life with an unwavering focus on detail. We ensure every project delivers interior design that is exceptional, personal and a joy to experience.

STUDIO

“A great interior design begins with elements of the client’s story. It inspires a narrative through colour, texture, materials and exceptional craftsmanship. The result is a timeless space, designed to last a lifetime.”
WAYNE PARKER

Our studio is built on the belief that the fundamentals of good design remain the same regardless of the intended style. Innovative yet sympathetic design as well as client satisfaction are at the core of our philosophy. Our commitment to delivering excellence remains amongst the very highest in our industry.

Wayne Parker Design is dedicated to ensuring a client’s project is executed in the most efficient, on budget and exciting manner possible. We want the best result for our clients, which in turn means being able to foresee obstacles and avoid costly delays.

Each project begins by understanding the client, their lifestyle, interests and hobbies and how they will use a particular environment. We then design sympathetically to enrich and honour the ‘spirit of place,’ however challenging that may be. Our team brings years of experience to devise fresh creative designs and exciting solutions for even the most difficult of briefs. Our extensive and varied portfolio of work is a testament of our commitment to our clients and partners.

SUSTAINABILITY

We work with organisations and suppliers who are active in sourcing materials in a sustainable manner and using environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

We love to work with businesses and suppliers who are committed to supporting traditional crafts, local materials and who nurture their local community.

Companies such as Justin Van Breda and Collaborative Craft Projects continue to honour African craftspeople and keep community at the heart of their beautiful design pieces and furniture. Collaborative Craft Projects in particular is doing commendable things for the community and their product.

Each project is undertaken with these principles in mind, to ensure that as far as possible we are making a positive impact on the planet and community in the way we design and deliver interiors. Our environmental policy is focussed on reducing our carbon footprint to become increasingly carbon neutral in the way we work.
